GONE

It's been Stolen!!!!!

Yeah you heard me right, woke up on friday morning to my flatmate telling me my car had gone. I thought she was messing around, but when I went and checked - nothing but a pool of glass!

Great way to start the easter bank-holiday weekend.

It has been found/recovered by the Police, but I can't view it until Tuesday!

Well, it seems it's getting longer between my posts here.

Anyway, added the bonnet and some new wheels.

The Sweetest Thing : Bonnet (Part 1)

It's been a while since I posted an update on here, so I thought peeps might like to know of any progress.

This is the progress of the bonnet, it still needs mesh installing. But don't it look sweeeeeeeeeeeeet?!

Many thanks to Derek at DevilRide for his hard work on this.

Every little helps.....

Those who know me know I'm not one to beg, but as I'm a freelance/part-time teacher with bills and debts to pay and this project is straining my pocket, somewhat.

So I'm putting down my pride to ask my friends (that's you lot) out there in the etherweb for the possibility of donations towards helping complete this, my first, project.

Every little helps and will be gratefully received.
In return at the end of the project all those donated will receive a personalised certificate of gratitude to give credit for their help, as well as a poster of the final project.

To donate please click the button on the right menu.

Anyone who is interested in a list of what donated funds will cover can email me for a breakdown of expenses here.

Audio Update

Have been in correspondance seeking advice from Rockford Fosgate Tech.

Quote from RFTech about subwoofer setup: "I would not recommend using the 8's and 10's together. They are to close of a speaker and will cancel each other out."

They did recommend jumping a size, but I don't want 12's in the car. So instead I'm replacing the 10's (P210S4) with more 8's (P28S4).

See the edit/update to the previous "Innovation" post.

They also gave me their recommendations for which Amps to use. So they will be as follows:

1x P4004 to power the Mids and highs (P162S & T162C)
2x P8002 to power the Subs (6x P28S4)

Rear Seat Builds (Part 2)

Just a little update on progress. Here is a pic of how the pod looks in the raw format, before spray job and installation of speaker.

Rear Seat Builds (Part 1)

My Rockford Fosgate T162C 6.5" coaxials arrived today (from the states, even with import tax they still work out half the retail price here!), so I can now make a start on the rear seat pods.

This is the area where the pod/build will be located on either side of the rear seats.
